Levelling the Playing Field has launched ‘Team Talk’ events to bring our fabulous network of partners together.
Over 50 people joined in our first Team Talk session on February 25 to share experiences of supporting participants through lockdown, swap stories and exchange best practice in engaging children from diverse communities.
Partners at the Team Talk also heard from Shane O’Connor, who highlighted the benefits of the Compassionate Integrity Training that we’re offering to staff of LtPF partners. As a result, almost 40 individuals have expressed an interest.
It was hugely pleasing to see many of the mentors from our Local Delivery Partners in attendance, who will shortly be starting our mentoring training.
Alongside Workplace, our online Community of Practice platform, we will continue to provide further opportunities for peer learning and collaboration for all partners on the project.
LtPF Project Manager, Rudro Sen, said: “Whilst lockdown is still in force, it is hugely beneficial to get our partners together to talk about our common goals, offer opportunities which can strengthen their impact and share knowledge and best practice.”
Our next Team Talk sessions will take place in the coming months, each with a special guest speaker. The speaker at our next session on March 25 is to be Viveen Taylor, Sport England’s first Director of Equality, Diversion and Inclusion.
We look forward to seeing you there!
